Background<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

beratung1 was opened in 1977 as a family counselling and treatment centre, making it one of the first family therapy counselling centres in Germany.<\/p>\n

The programme is aimed at family systems and couples in order to tackle issues that are difficult to resolve together and in a resource-oriented manner. The programme is financially supported by the City of Stuttgart.<\/p>\n

beratung1.de is run by the Psychotherapeutisches Zentrum e.V., a non-profit, non-denominational and politically independent private association which, in addition to beratung1, also runs the fortbildung1 training centre in Stuttgart-Sonnenberg.<\/p>\n

Task<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Interim management of the Counselling Centre at all organisational levels: Personnel, administration, budgeting, networks.<\/p>\n

Solution<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Short-term takeover of the management of the facility for 7 months<\/p>\n

Working closely with the team and the Executive Board, the most important tasks were<\/p>\n

  • Regular dialogue with employees, leading weekly team meetings<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Regular communication with the Executive Board<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Recruiting: managing the application process - hiring the new manager and a therapist, familiarisation and handover<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Administration: budget management, submission of funding applications, controlling, further development of own forms<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Organisation: coordination with telephone and software providers, architect, partners, caretaker, tradesmen ...<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Committee and lobby work: participation in various working groups and industry meetings, presentation of funding applications to the most important parties in the Stuttgart city council<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
